Nova Jazz

Nova Jazz is an innovative, high-energy, dance
performance company comprised of young adults. The highly trained and hand-picked members of nova jazz are proficient in styles ranging from theatre dance and jazz to ballet and Middle-Eastern dancing. As leaders in their schools and community, nova jazz members are required to maintain a disciplined schedule of performance classes as well as uphold high standards of academic achievement and community service.

Directed by Jennifer Dell, nova jazz members have participated in presentations including, but not limited to the "Broadway Dance Center's Youth Performance Showcase" at the Richard Ellner Theatre, community nursing home and assisted living facilities, Stamford's 2002 and 2003 Thanksgiving Parade Spectacular, performances at Six Flags America Baltimore and Baltimore's Harborplace, and at Sea World and DisneyWorld in Orlando, Florida.
