Scottie Fernandez is the Classical Director and Director of Meta Works Modern Company at the Pulse Performing Arts Studio. She specializes in classical training/ Ballet, Pointe and Modern, as well and early childhood training.
Scottie’s modern company has performed in such venues as DRA featured at SUNY Purchase, Blythedale Children’s Hospital, Breast Cancer Awareness Showcases, and local hospital Fundraisers. In 2009, Meta Works traveled to Ancy le Franc and Paris, France to perform and teach at local studios.
Scottie has a B.F.A. in Dance Education from Goucher College, Baltimore, Maryland. Scottie's other teaching experiences include choreography and improvisational classes as well as ballet classes for physically and mentally handicapped children.
