Cameron Burke
Cameron Burke grew up in a small town outside of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. It was there that he began his dance training at the age of 14 with The School of Music and Dance, under the direction of Robin Bowman and Lauren Walb. Cameron has won various awards and titles from numerous competitions and conventions, and in 2005 he was one of 30 dancers chosen from the state of Pennsylvania to attend the Pennsylvania Governor's School for The Arts. Cameron is a recent 2010 graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Jazz Dance. During his time at Marymount, Cameron has worked with well- known choreographers such as Geoffrey Doig-Marx, Kate Weare, Edgar Zendejas, Patricia Catterson, Mollisa Fenley, and Elena Commendador. Cameron hopes of one day dancing on a broadway stage, as well ad starting his own company. He is very excited to on staff at The Pulse for the 2010-2011 year. Cameron would like to thank all of the dancers in advance for their spirit, creativity, individuality, and passion.
